It's starting to feel alot like October of '98. We all know what happened then.

Couple of differences though- 1) There was little or no problem with inflation at that point due to the contraction in Asia. 2) The US dollar was at much lower levels. 3) Easy Al and the boyz 'saved the world' by quickly easing 3 times.

These factors are all interrelated. If you can figure them all out, let me know. <g> One thing I do know, is that the market IS the economy now, and Easy Al will be up to his '98 tricks again if the $US doesn't correct. The strong dollar is at least perceived to be a major problem to the markets right now.

If you try and catch any falling knives, don't bet the farm, and sell quickly if you're wrong.
