OT Kodak invests in digital photo Web site

Eastman Kodak is taking a stake in online photography site PhotoAlley.com, and will become the San Francisco-based site's exclusive print processor.

www.PhotoAlley.com sells digital cameras and related products, offers information about photography, and hosts registered users' photographs on the Web.

Kodak is also offering an instruction CD through Circuit City stores, offering digital camera buyers advice, photo storage software and print development services, the Associated Press reported. "It also allows us to build affinity with the customer at the point of purchase," Kodak vice president Nancy Carr explained.
