Thanks for the correction -- too many years in Washington state and guilty of being a touch typist. The word was out without a conscious thought. Much like some of the rhetoric around here... ;)

Good grief, Ron:

Castro is the head of a totalitarian regime..

Okay, he came in through a coup, tossing out another dictator (our puppet and that of the Mob), he doesn't have anything other than a puppet government below him that executes his will and he ISN'T an "authoritarian" (syn:Dictatorial)? Now why is that?

Oh, never mind. It isn't important or relevant. Uganda under Amin. Totalitarian vs. Authoritarian. Geez, does it matter?

Ask the bodies clogging the Aswan Dam...!

None of these places are good models for will happen in the U.S. in the face of increased restrictions on ARMS. ARMS dammit. ARMS. Not guns. Your weapon universe is already restricted. You have no missiles. You have no grenades or cannon. All supported by the Supreme Court. Get on with your life. And deposit your hand gun in the government recepticle. Not!

How many of you really think your gun is what keeps you in a democracy? Really? A show of hands?
