Prime West.

Volume today 423,000 shares and hit $8.80 at one point.
Break out soon towards $9 headed to ???.
Worth $10 for a 17.5 % yield assuming $1.75 distribution in 2001.(Very conservative distribution estimate).

I'm wondering whether one can play the "new issue" oil and gas trusts. Primewest took a major beating when the new issue was announced, but has come back to where it was as the extra stock was absorbed by the market. Now Viking is in a similar situation - trading at around $8.00 as opposed to $8.65 the day before the new issue was announced. Enerplus is another one. My guess is that Viking will announce a pretty good dividend in a week or so, and in another 2 -3 weeks it'll be back to where it was. Likewise Enerplus.
