Dear Sam : Recently I lost my father . My mother asked me to prepare a letter that was to be sent out to 5 grand children informing them that they were the beneficiary of dad's will. They all inherited a very nice bequeath from dad. I just cannot help but to share this with you . I have deleted a few parts of the letter. It tells, from my heart the key to God's blessings, and the reason that my family is so blessed. I want that generational blessing to continue, and I want to take all the necessary steps myself to ensure that it does. Take this to heart, (son),and consider it full of wisdom.............................

Dear ( grandchild): As co-executor of dad’s will it is a solemn responsibility that I have in carrying out dad’s final wishes.

Nana asked me to compose a message that would be suitable for this occasion. I have taken her request quite seriously.

In First Psalms we read that “blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatsoever he does prospers.

Not so the wicked ! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous but the way of the wicked will perish.

It is so obvious that our family is under generational blessings, for we know God is honoring the prayers and faith of our fathers. But each generation must assume their responsibilities in continuing to live under the grace that the Lord so freely provides us in Christ.

It is not that we must be perfect nor that we will ever attain perfection, for we know that perfection for our Holy God can only come by the shed blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

So let me tell you the key to keeping in the good graces of our heavenly Father.

Never rely on your own goodness, good deeds, or high opinion of yourself to approach God . Always approach Him asking for , and expecting mercy and G.R.A.C.E.(God’s riches at Christ’s expense) In so doing you honor Him by first acknowledging your need for a savior and then by recognizing His holiness. You please him when you expect mercy and grace because in so doing you acknowledge His almost endless patience, and His desire to continue to strive with us in our daily walks with Him.

So it is with a wonderful feeling of duty and honor that Nana and I present to you your inheritance from papa. Enclosed is your check for xxxxxxxxx. We pray that you will use it for your convenience and good pleasure. We would ask that you use it wisely and not in risky investments. To use 1/2 or xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and to use the other xxxxxxxxxxx as a financial reserve, would in our opinion be the best and highest use ; however you need not consult us as an inheritance, by definition, is to have and to hold as you see fit , no strings attached.

May the Lord’s blessings flow continuously toward you and for you. Always remember that our Lord is a God of increase and His increase knows no bounds. He is exceedingly abundant and generous and will give you more than you every think you deserve, as long as you will follow the outline He has given us in His Holy Bible .

God Bless You......

Sam . Take this to heart, I know you desire God's blessing for your family, I know you are trying to be obedient to the Lords will, but always remember that the New Testament is literally His will and in it we have a rich inheritance. If a rich billionaire left you an inheritance would you not read every page , every sentence , every clause in that will, of course you would. Also, as a co-executors we have taken a solemn oath to uphold all the terms and conditions of the will , ......God Bless..gregor
