John, I like that IBM analogy.

Take it one step further. Tech companies in trouble almost always bottom out close to book value. IBM's low during those problems was a little over $10, split adjusted. At that time, book value was $12. AAPL, same thing. It bottomed out at 6 3/8 in '97, book value just under $7. DEC, same thing.

I know that book value is pretty much an accounting formality that often does not reflect reality. Nevertheless, this works time and time again.

LU book value right now is $7.82.
