I bite my nails. Is that an addictive trait? Actually I drink much less than I make it sound here. I just don't have the endurance to drink AND get stuff accomplished. Plus France ruined me for box wine and I'm too cheap to drink good stuff every night. I'm really an awfully boring person. We are working on Ammo's college applications- this means I nag and Ammo fills them out. Only SMU's app. asks the parents to write something about their child and why he might succeed. It's optional, but of course, I think I should write something. AMmo says no-- he has been written about by me too much. I think he's worried that anything I say will be held against him. Nonsense, I said, If it's bad enough, they might take pity on you and take you anyway. A mercy acceptance. It's HARD to write about your own kid-- especially when you think he is the most perfect one in the universe. I want to be fair-- and credible. Maybe I should take out the sentence about the healings and miracles.
