Now I found what's wrong. Your Top occurred May 27, 1997 at 36 (pre-split was 72). My Top occurred 3 months later on Aug 20, 1997 at 54 3/16 (108 3/8 pre-split). Somehow you calculated a 68% decline during that Bear Market but as for me, the decline is just 60%, --- better than the 63% that happened the previous Bear market. When I looked at a graph, the top in May is lower than the top in Aug that year.

Something doesn't tally, but anyway your calculations serve your purpose and my calculations serve mine.
