My Sister called me up to tell me about the same time she asked if she could take the computer back.

That's the option I would pursue immediately if mark's suggestions didn't work.

wow. i must have missed that part! there should be no messing around.... call the manufacturer right away. or carry it back to the store you purchased it at.

the things i noted are still valid, but the fact that the machine is so new really does dictate that you hand this problem right back to them.
