Charles, you may be right about the appeals court. I think the appeals court is trying to give every advantage to Microsoft for 2 reasons. 1) They want to see how Microsoft behaves with them as opposed to how it behaved with Jackson. These guys seem to be innovative and fair. Each side was bickering about number of words. These guys gave the order in terms of number of pages. IMHO, very interesting. 2) They want MSFT and the govt to settle. The only way this will happen if they are SEEN as giving every advantage to MSFT.

I think the consumers are in good hands with this court. Now it is up to MSFT and the govt to do the right thing...
