What does dividend yeild have to do with valuations/market caps? I think you should quit while you're not too far behind... LOL!

chic, CSCO's accounting is certainly aggressive, but I don't have a problem with CSCO. The company is using existing laws and rules of GAAP to its own benefit, as it should. What's more, CSCO's disclosure is excellent. The company allows us to see everything, warts as well as beauty marks.

That is the main reason that so many people complain about CSCO's accounting--because they disclose everything. There are a large number of companies that don't disclose as much; there is where the real problems will arise. CSCO, meanwhile, will actually have its decline tempered by the fact that any informed investor already is cognizant of all the issues that you outline.
