Good morning Grace i had interesting thing happen which proves your free point. I had been looking at composite roofing materials trying to catch up on what is new in the architectural world.
Yesterday i got a brochure on my door from a company in Gardena which is quite a distance from where i am located. The brochure carried a card with it representing the very company who had a product that intrigued me.
The end result was who ever tagged me on the net wasted gas.

How do you make money in an environment where everything seems to want to approach free?

You go to the jugular.

The strategy behind all these consumer oriented plays is security of income stream rather than capital gains or rapid profitability growth. The only way to briefly benefit in capital gains in VOD is to own a company like CCUR which is situated near the jugular. Once it runs you have to sell and look elsewhere. Plays like MSOs and ATHM are utilities and so are income stream oriented once they have made their debut.
