Ken, I agree with you and Ray that market leadership, at least for now, is dependent on the semiconductor sector. The plague currently besetting the semiconductors is consern over rate of growth. In other words, it is acknowledged that this sector will continue to grow, but at what rate.

Motorola failed the day, and although AMD beat estimates after the bell today, there are questions regarding AMD's revenue growth. On the other hand, AMCC's and
TXCC's reports after the bell look very good.

WDC was dissapointing today. It looked like new support base was formed at 6. Large block activity also slowed down today, and was neutral.

Buys +24 +$4.7 MM
Sells-29 -$3.6 MM

SEG's earnings after the bell may help sector tomorrow.
