IMO, this market is too fcked to have too much of a time perspective. I mostly trade and have about 1/3 in core positions, but I'm ready to dump any of them if things go against me. If you were playing the short game October of 87 was much better.* Guess that depends what you were in. Many of the semi's I was short this last month tanked 50%. XLNX and ALTR were just the icing on the cake yesterday. Especially if you're leveraged with poots. I was about 10 years old in '87, but I've read quite a bit about all the mania's and the following blow off. Of course, "this" one is different because of the Internet. LOL
