Tim,

This is by the way not moving in the same direction where AMD wants to move. AMD wants to move the Northbridge to the CPU die, while Micron wants to add some memory to the Northbridge.

We will see which approach will win in the long term. But based on the fact that Micron doesn't really push their products, I don't believe this particular design will be a factor.
