gst, we don't need to drop anymore for major pain to set in. all we need to do is sit right here, +/- 2% for a week. then the margin calls will be met w/ forced selling since folks can't mortgage their homes anymore. did you know in this time of massive asset inflation that home equity has DROPPED! refi, take out lotsa cash, buy the naz at 4500. lose lotsa cash. ho ho ho ho ho!

>> do you think their are margin calls and fund redemptions going on GST, With Friday coming, it seems the carnage will continue. Of course, even on Monday, another Friday will be just 3 days away. But in the past several drops, each time I thought there would be massive margin calls, somehow the market turned up (and went on to record highs). I have to say though, today did not feel like a bottom. Maybe next Tuesday we'll have a reversal after a harrowing drop at the open. THAT would be a bottom.
