That article says exactly what I have felt and have been saying: just beating expectations by a penny or two equals minor selloff unless the Nasdaq has *really turned around by next week which at this point looks, shall we say, extremely unlikely. If there's so much as a molecule of caution in the CC, the selloff will be a lot bigger. And I don't see how there can't be some caution. They haven't released enough new products.

So, since I'm usually wrong, that must mean this thing's really gonna pop around earnings time!!

Edit: AMD is only down a little after hours because, in addition to beating by 2 Cents, they made all kind of frothing at the mouth in the CC about how they're selling out all their production and revising all their volume estimates upward. Therefore, to repeat, they're only down *a little after hours.
