In view of the yucky market, where millions of people have lost MILLIONS of dollars (stocks, pension funds, etc....) wouldn't it be interesting to discuss just the "top 1% of taxpayers (who pay 34% of all the income taxes!!!)--and just exactly where the estimated surplus is to come from......Seems to me that if we look at all the charts, the stock market started falling freefall at the same time of the announcement about MSFT by the Justice Dept of Clinton-Gore ...Wonder just how many billions (with a B) have been lost since then....and just how it will affect the so called surplus....
Best to All, KLP
