John, there several sign that indicate for a turnaround including heavy volume.

But IMHO upside will be limited and a lot depends on the interperation of today debate and the ME.

Yes, the SOX made a near perfect doji, strongly suggestion diminution of the trend. The Nasdaq, with its gap down open, made a less perfect "doji star." Taken by themselves, dojis are generally considered somewhat more dependable for calling tops than bottoms. In the latter cases - such as the SOX as you describe it and the Nasdaq as well - one is advised to be alert for a change, but to await confirmation by subsequent movement in the new direction. A full-fledged doji morning star (formed by a strong rally tomorrow) would be considered very bullish, I believe. You'd want something like the opposite of the formation that marked the most recent Nasdaq top on 8/31, 9/1, and 9/5.
