One would THINK that this points to the INTEL shortfall as a company specific problem...in other words, that AMD is stealing marketshare from Intel, not necessarily a PC sales slowdown. Even DELL could perhaps be explained away as Dell generally sells higher end (INTEL) machines. Perhaps the market has shifted again to lower cost (usually AMD) machines. Either way, they require chips.

I hope this is good for AMAT as it appear on the surface.
