Hey Bernie...if you recall(I could dig up the posts, one of them is #48003)throughout late June to August I maintained a conviction for a return to this area....the view was 1360 MINIMUM with the original target of 1300-1325 still a distinct possibility. Well here we are piecing 1360 on a 'spike'and then reversing up quickly. Am I sold on THAT WAS IT! Am I jumping up and down? not yet.
had a good intraday EQUITY put/call the first few hours today.....one of the very few times there were more puts than calls in equities, but it did not last for the full day. Oct 8,1998 may be the ONLY day in the past 5 years that the daily puts outnumbered the calls on the equities. this is a good sign for a bottom, but I'm not REALLY convinced. I'd like to see a DOW up above 10,600 on a closing basis to start with, along with a surge in the NAZ

now you are a trendline kind of guy......what turns you on along those lines?
