Yikes! That is an incredible chart. Should scare the daylights out of any of us. The scale on the chart is log, but look at the would-be curvature of the trend line at about the Q3 of 1999. It breaks way beyond the upper channel. What an extreme condition! It's no wonder we're correcting (he said in an understated tone).

Thanks for the reminder and large dose of reality.
