JR, you're good at projecting power plays. Wa'ssup with this sudden turn of events? The stock keeps rolling downhill like a little red wagon on a string.

I can understand a sell off. I grasp the pricing in of economic slow down and recession risk. I can even see long, long, long positions unwinding as funds managers want to get the bad news off the books.

But AAPL be low down here. A 50% premium take over would still be less than $30. Any feel that Jobs was wanting to pump and dump the whole company by now, but got mired in?

They be some kinda assets in this company! OS X is bigger than it looks. Quicktime also. Then there be Firewire, Final Cut Pro, Web Objects, etc... And there's the billions of dollars in cash.

Point is, with all those assets it takes much of the risk out for the acquiring company.

Wall Street can swing a mean wrecking ball. Who disguised as a serious writer was willing to blame Apple for the troubles of the entire sector? What kind'a grumbling in the back rooms has he been listening to? Was there a covert take-under in progress from the git-go?

Worry, worry. Worry, worry worry. Ahhhh... worry. Blink. Woah! What happened?
