Ok you techies out there correct me if I'm wrong, BUT if this "revolutionary" technology from Down Under otherwise known as "Qualcomm Killer" does work as advertised. How the hell would it be cost competitive with a CSM chip handling many channels at the same time. I don't remember what the exact numbers were from the latest CSM PR but I think it supported 32 or 64 channels. How many DSP's would it take to do the same thing for software radio? 32, 64,....?

JH - Beats me why the market would take this seriously. Actually I don't believe that the market took any notice of it whatsoever it was purely co-incidental.

Doing what Q does is quite difficult and so far as I know not many companies have anything like their technical and managerial competance and world wide regulatory experience. Without all that lot you will need something very very special by way of IPR that is as revolutionary as cdma is.
