ALbert,

The most interesting issue for Intel will be Q1 and Q2 next year.

Intel really dumped a lot stock to make its numbers.

The yoy comparisons for intel are gonna be a stranglehold on the stock.

Whats the betting that intel management will be wanting comparisons without one time gains come next year??

regards,

Kash

Dash - Albert - Re: "did not you argue that cap gains should be included in intel earnings?
Hmmmm...... And yet you are the 1st one to strip that portion from amd gains......"

Intel holds investments in several hundred companies - and adds more every week - in their Intel Capital portfolio.

This portfolio provides a "near-constant pool of potential" capital gains.

It can be periodically tapped to generate cash so that cash can be redeployed and reinvested in other opportunities.

Now, Dash-Albert - just how many times can AMD sell off its communications division ?
