The ol' History Channel gets me in a lot of trouble -- I remember points they make, but not which specific program that makes that point, and then I can't use it as a reference when I'm challenged. Sigh. The trials and tribulations of modern life ...

If this is correct, the Second Amendment could be read as a rejection of the whole concept of government regulation of weapons. Which would make most of our gun laws unconstitutional under an original intent doctrine.
