Baird,

You asked:

"Do you have more information on the particular
advantage of Endwave's transceiver?"

No. I do know that transceivers are in short supply
everywhere right now... so, even if Endwave only
offers more manufacturing capacity for these devices,
that would be helpful by itself. As far as any
technical advantages go... I suggest you visit/read
(a) their website, and (b) their filings with the SEC.

From what little I've read, it would appear that its
their "flip-chip" technology that sets Endwave apart
from the competition... a long time ago I did a little
reading and learned that "flip-chip" technology is an
advanced manufacturing technique - something about
placing a bonding agent on one side of the chip and
then flipping it over - anyway, its trickier than
standard methods but creates a smaller package...
so its popular in manufacturing cell-phone parts, etc.
There are a number of Electronic Contract Manufacturers
(ECM's) that have flip-chip manufacturing capabilities;
I gather there is a lot of design/planning that must be
done to gear-up for a flip-chip product manufacturing run.

Hope that helps,

Rob
