I think you underestimate their influence.

Intel only missed revs of $300 million, AMD could have taking a big chunk of this, but they came up short on revs also.

Companies directly effected by the PC industry are huge; INTC, DELL, MSFT, etc. You could also make the case that all the net stuff is dependent on growth, which directly relates to PC sales.

[I'm referring to giving the clowns a reason to buy this dip for a few days, nothing more except more fears materializing]
