Herm,

Show me a beaten up good stock

Funny how these beaten up good stocks are turning out to be not so good lately. I have a rather substantial collection of them now, with LU being my favorite of this ilk. In a few cases, I did get some LEAPS instead of the underlying, and it certainly has cushioned the blow. One can only hope that in time there will be opportunities to collect some decent premiums without having to risk getting called out at a loss. With perfect hindsight, I am regretting not writing more calls as I accumulated some of my long positions instead of waiting for the lift. The only good thing is my share count per dollar invested is up, so if we ever rebound I'll be able to generate more premiums.
