JAMFX- Jacob Internet Fund- Jacobs was the star of The Internet Fund, left it the end of 1999 and started his own fund beginning of this year, at $10/sh. Today, it closed at $3.93, down 60% YTD. sad.
More positively, AMCC, Applied Microcircuits, beat earnings and ran 5% AH. Is in the fiber optics sector. AMCC and GLW could be the spark to run this sector on Thursday. MRVC should be one to watch with its coming IPOs in this sector. Also, JDSU, SDLI, CIEN, forget LUcy i'm afraid. talked to someone today who half kidding said maybe GLW would buy LU. Last year, there was talk of LU buying GLW. LU's market cap is 75 billion now. sad. They HAVE to do something. massive stock buyback, fire CEO, learn how to run their business. maybe XRX, LU, and CD will merge - forming the biggest telco manufacturer and copy company that has hotel franchises. larry

KLAC expected to report tomorrow. Solid record of beating the street. Same for PMCS.

GTW I think will be a indicator of the strength/weakness in the PC market.

Market wants and needs some really good news.
