Re: I posted earlier that a big direct box builder/seller was selling a huge block of mixed AMD chips at almost any price (as long as they could dump it outside the US). It sure looked to me like a company trying to waltz its inventories back into shape before quarter end (following the infamous early summer over-ordering fiasco). At the time, it was just one more item that reinforced my perception that we were awash in chips and that chip prices would continue to fall.

I read that post, but I put little faith in people on the Internet that claim to "know" something that isn't public knowledge, so I discounted what you had to say.

Knowing what I know about the DRAM/Rambus situation, I have become very cynical after reading multiple posts by Rambus bulls about something they "know" that no one else does that is completely out of touch with reality.

It looks like you were very right though. ;-))
