LEONIA, N.J., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Infocrossing, Inc. (Nasdaq: IFOX - news), a fast-growing provider of managed hosting services and application infrastructure solutions, today announced an extension of its relationship with EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC - news), that enables Infocrossing to offer on-demand disk storage services to its hosted customers. The technology behind Infocrossing's superior offerings has been certified by EMC as ``EMC Proven(TM).''

``This enhancement of our relationship with EMC is another step in our strategy to provide a world-class infrastructure in information storage, management and protection technologies for our customers,'' commented Chuck Auster, president and chief executive officer of Infocrossing. ``In addition, this relationship further strengthens the convergence of IT and IP at Infocrossing and our ability to bridge the gap between the traditional information technology environment and the Internet hosting world. With EMC, we are continuing to build a storage infrastructure that will scale to meet our most aggressive customer service levels,'' Mr. Auster noted.

As part of this extended relationship, Infocrossing has been accepted into the EMC Proven(TM) program, which certifies partners and businesses that have invested in best practices for an information infrastructure. It confirms that Infocrossing has a best-of-breed infrastructure that supports the need for reliability, scalability and flexibility, and has the capacity to operate at peak efficiency, adapt to constantly changing business conditions and scale to accommodate growth.

``Today's forward thinking companies like Infocrossing are building their entire business around information,'' said Mike Ruffolo, executive vice president of global sales, service and marketing for EMC. ``EMC Proven E-Infostructure provides organizations operating in the 24 hour Internet workday with the highest levels of information availability, and is a standard upon which investors and clients can measure commitment to future success and the promise of customer satisfaction.''

According to the most recent Forrester Report on storage, ``Companies face a storage boom caused by a wealth of new applications and a flood of eCommerce Data.'' Infocrossing's Internet Data Center customers will have the option of utilizing EMC's E-Infostructure technology for their data management and storage capabilities. These services include:

Managed High Availability Storage
