Nobody is right all the time. To think that is to live in fantasy land. I'm under no illusions here. That's why I've owned puts on the NDX for a while as a hedge here.

I've been a lot more right than you over the years. You have remained consistently bearish for years. I've been mostly bullish and its paid off. I've also taken profits. If your Nasdung goes to 0, I'm still way ahead even with losses here.

My point is that no one wins all the time in these financial markets and it is very easy to point out when someone has been wrong over the short term.

As for the gold stocks, the kind of rallies that I've seen over the past year have all been met by further selling and lower lows. So, I wouldn't get excited just yet over a 1 or 2 day rally, or even a 2 hour rally, as most do on GPM. I was long for the late Sept 99 rally. And I wouldn't hesitate to go long again if the fundamentals turned in gold's favor.
