I have no problem with your viewpoint. In fact, I half agree with it (I was a lucky one who liquidated most of my ARBA holdings at 160 and 170). My problem is just that you and Spytrdr seem to post because you like to read what you write. Your viewpoints could be conveyed in a much more constructive manner, that's all. The "hiring" page of Ariba didn't illuminate anything, if you ask me. If you think it did, I think you're making connections where there are none.

That's not to say that your point isn't valid. I just take exception to the way you have been "hammering it home" with all kinds of content-less posts. I like DD. I like facts. You think ARBA is low-tech .. maybe you're right! But you're not going to convince anyone just by saying so, especially not me.

ARBA has enjoyed high valuations partially because of its partnerships. Low-tech or high-tech, partnerships with well-know big companies generally translate to a higher stock price, until the partnership is shown to be less effective than everyone thought it would be.
