The 30% and 40% numbers aren't necessarily in disagreement. The 40% was the total of sales to enterprises and reimbursements by enterprises, presumably to employees who bought their Palms at retail outlets. The 30% referred to direct sales to enterprises.

My notes from the Q&A section of the Q4, 2000 CC read "40% of consumers who buy Palm devices are reimbursed by their employers." Just my notes, though.
