It is interesting that you knew his son's and daughter's NAMES isn't it? Isn't that what a name is supposed to do: attach a specific identity to you? Crazy, huh??!! It seemed to work.

Names are so faddish anyway. When I named my kid, I looked for a name that wasn't in use too much. Guess what? So did everyone else. So, here she is with a name that a lot of other people share. I goofed in that department. If I'd have named her after my Grandmothers, then she would have been unique. My advice, if you want an unusual name (I had one when I was a kid, it is much more common now ).
Having a strange name is a double edge sword: the good AND bad part is that people remember you. Never use names of movie stars (minor or major, nor recently dead) and go back at least 2 generation and pick a popular name of that time.
