Art, somewhat off topic

Just a bit of (wild a--) conjecture on my part. It seems to me, that eventually, ALL data storage will move to flash memory from hard disks. This may take 10 to 15 years or more, but technology has always migrated inexorably from moving parts to solid state, and digital data storage seems a likely candidate for that move.

The capacity has to have a huge build out and subsequent price decline, I'm not even sure if I'll see it in my life time. But it does seem inevitable.

John

New LCD technology. It'll probably either use embedded flash, or enable a new flash card market somehow or other.
