Why? Prochoice is something the government needs to protect from violent people with minority views. No prochoice folks are picketing homes for pregnant teens- shouting nasty things at them

No the prochoice people are just killing unborn children.
As for picking homes for pregnant teens, that wouldn't be the normal activity of pro-life demonstrators. They usually picket abortion clinics.

I am glad the government is there to protect those women. I don't mind the government taxing (you CAN call it stealing, but legally that is not what it is)

The government decides what the laws are so obviously it won't be stealing legally. It is however takeing money from you by force so I would call it stealing, or perhaps more accurately extortion. However taxes are basically a nescessary evil. Without them you have anarchy.

The government does lots of good things with the money it gets. It would be a big surprise if it could spend $1.5 trillion without having any positive result. However much of that money might be used more efficently by the private sector or by lower levels of government instead of the federal government. This would also have the advantage of increaseing people's personal freedom. Also a lot of what the federal government does is not authorized by the constituion.

I would like to see the government "protect" more land in the west- from nasty developers, and ranchers, who ruin the ecosystems with their stupid cattle we shouldn't be eating anyway.

The federal government all ready owns half the land in some western states, and regulates the use of a lot of what is left over. Then you have state governments also owning land. How much do you think should be left over for relativly unregulated private use? 2% or is that too generous?
