the big opposing camps are getting loud now OldEconomy got rocked this morning by HomeDepot slowdown news exacerbated by USNavy vessel story near Persian Gulf 5 sailors dead on suicide attack off Yemen coast crude oil up over $2 per barrel NewEconomy got positive news from Corning NazComp cannot seem to accept and embrace the news though Naz was up 60 pts, now down 50 too bad Corning news couldnt come during a calm day externally individual leader NewTechs are still barely up, after good open OldTech got good news from AMD, sporting 80% earnings growth we might see some more good news from Gateway later today that should counter the droopy story coming from Intel trading curbs in for Dow, down 310 pts mostly from exploding tensions in MiddleEast now in neighborhood of March2k support lows and Oct99 support lows so we have OldEcon vs NewEcon we also have OldTech vs NewTech a plethora of confusion / Jim
