John, >Now that's funny, you are selling, I am buying.

How bullish of you. I thought during one of the dire dark days (nice alliteration, huh?) you said you'd be trying to lighten up on your Intel?

Did anyone hear about a Niles call about AMD, that their ASP's were rather disappointingly low and that bodes poorly for 4th Q? I heard one of the Bloomberg analysts saying this on that show about 6:00 a.m. Pacific.

Again: Now that's funny, you are selling, I am buying.

That's what makes a market

Tony

Here is a shortie about Niles words:

biz.yahoo.com

Hans Mosesmann of Pru also not very high on AMD, from ArnieC on AMD:

I'll check the link again. Basically he rates AMD a HOLD.
4th qtr. at $.65
Price target-$25.00
2001 EPS to $2.30

We were pi**ing and moaning on this thread about AMD's deep price cuts recently, if you recall. The AMD supporters were attributing it to superior yields, binsplits and other Karma.
