Well then the State of Texas was terribly lax in this case. Hate Crimes legislation would have solved this problem for them.

Not so if it applies to all suspects equally where bigotry is the primary motivating factor in the crime.

ROFLMAO!!....dems even trying to divide crimes into groups...ok, let me see if I get it: If I kill a fellow American of my same race, sexual orientation, gender and religious belief and get convicted I will do a life term.....If I should kill someone of a different race, sexual orientation, gender or religious belief and get convicted I will do two life terms.....of course if I was convicted in Texas I would be sent to the electric chair twice.<g>
