Hi Wiz:

I was up to my ears in field work all summer, so couldn't spend as much time on my favourite thread as I would like.

My list has shortened up dramatically as the market shoots many of my favourites in the throat. I am currently hoping for a bounce to "reload". One can darned near throw a dart at any of the PC/semi stocks and have a decent chance of success if the sheep bounce them. I also love any tech or dot com survivors that hump big debt (does AMZN fit that bill? (g)) and that is a nice long list.

I really hate to suggest or recommend stock shorts for obvious reasons. But if we were having a beer, we'd probably discuss stocks like askj, cls, ibm, lnux, gstrf, xlnx, rmbs, cpq, nii, jdsu, yhoo, etc. (g)

Some of the darlings have not yet been wounded. Stocks like cien, and jnpr come to mind as among those that are excellent prospective candidates for the future.

I would pay much more attention to the thoughts of MB and his reccos than to any I might have. I don't hang around his den because he is a pretty face. (g)

Best, Earlie
