Cirrus, AMD's low ASP was a result of low Duron prices to compensate for lack of low-cost infrastructure.

Are you sure, or do you have a link? AMD cut Athlons a lot. If they hadn't, wouldn't their ASPs have been significantly higher? I don't see how the street would not attribute lower ASPs to the much publicized Athlon cuts. Duron just barely got going in volume, sales-wise, didn't it?
