IBD goes even further to say don't spend your money until a rally day is confirmed by a follow thru day. This is conservative advice. I've been waiting for a vix spike day for two years and felt compelled to try picking the bottom. As the generals get pummeled,I think we near the end of a bottom. Todays vix spike was pretty good ,tomorrow may be better - depends on the close today. These are just good value buys that will be rewarded in the long run. Now it takes purchasing power ,patience and a dart. <vbg> Bob
