i'd say on CNBS for every 30 people announcing a bottom every day, you get one who says 'it might not be the bottom yet'. BK? never heard that mentioned once, even the word 'bear' is not politically correct enough... Ralph Bloch, who's a t/analyst and had some encouraging words to say today (he may well be right in the ST) forgot to mention that we're about to break ages old trend lines, and on top of that we just got a Dow theory sell signal.... i thought 'chief technical analysts' were supposed to know these things...
