Routing code on a CE device..... well that IS the question - what value will it add.

My take is NT is working to sell a bill of goods suggesting that there will be "something". The fact is that there really isn't any rocket science to building a CE device and it does not need full blown routing code. We're talking about the routing of packets... they only go in one direction - to the WAN. What do you need a router on your phone for?

NT may be successful in penetrating small business routers - THAT should be the target... but CE devices like set tops, cell phones, cable modems, etc.. don't need routing..
