it's not as if there hadn't been fair warning on the banks...nationwide, bank earnings already declined sharply in q2. it was only a matter of time before this spread to the ones with the big cookie jars...

first time i hear this mentioned in public...also says refineries running full tilt means no amount of crude can alleviate the situation.

After this $hitstorm blows over, the only economist worthy of the FRB post is Doug Noland. Fleck should be the SEC chief. Richebauer should be Sec'y of the Treasury. And Ron Paul should be the friggin' President....
