It really is just a question of being fair. If he had a friend with him to hang out with I would not care.

You have 8 anyway. This is probably a moot point.

The kid says he will do the Badlands if I like.

It's of no consequence to him one way or the other. He actually seems familiar with the course, I guess he may have seen pictures of it.

He said he would even just walk the course if there is no room for him. So put us down as alternates, unless you can flesh out two more players to make another foursome. By the way, he's no Gene Sarazen. He can hit the ball okay but he putts like a drunken sailor.
