Chuck,

I was concerned that P4 reportedly had a double speed ALU, but the remainder of the pipeline was at single speed. This would be pretty stupid, because it would have created a critical bottleneck immediately after the ALU.

Apparently this is not the case. The remainder of the pipeline is either double clocked, or is split to double width, allowing both instructions which executed during one clock cycle in the ALU to complete simultaneously.
