WTF does that mean? Very odd. Jacobs is one to choose his words carefully.

Seems pretty obvious that folks are getting out thinking they will reenter later cheaper. With what's going on in the Middle East the risk of being in versus out, especially in view of IJ's comments (China announcement optimistically by end of year), has changed dramatically.

At this point for those not in this is perhaps an opportunity to do so. I am very long and holding (except for a bit of trading) most of it. I don't want to miss any big announcements even though it looks like they won't be happening real soon.

I'm still amazed how this stock is held captive by china's plans like that's all its got going for it.

Good trading all - and a wish for peace for all,

Claude (rhymes with TOAD)

"We are spinning off our semiconductor business. As a part of the spinoff we may do a small IPO.
We are looking whether we do that... We'll make the decision shortly," he added.

Let's read this carefully. It says that the Spinoff is still on track and they may do an (secondary?) IPO of QCOM stock for more cash.
Do you read this the same way? Also, why do they need more cash?
